Honigkuchen/Honey Bread (Gingerbread)

"Honigkuchen" is another name for gingerbread, which is derived from the fact that gingerbread was traditionally sweetened with honey. One can understand the word as a name for (the rarer kind of) gingerbread varieties that are wholly or predominantly sweetened with honey or other sugars. On the food market, "Honigkuchen" is mainly sold as high, juicy gingerbread in Brunswick or Dutch style ("Frühstückskuchen").
So, to be clear, Honigkuchen can simply be a different name for gingerbread, but also mean a special kind of gingerbread.

It's hard to explain somehow, haha. "Honigkuchen" for me is pretty different from the "normal" gingerbread. It tastes different too. (ö- ö )
Again Lower Saxony looks nothing like the other chibis. xD At this point I think it might be some kind of curse?! He's the biggest of his brothers (even though Bavaria is the largest Bundesland/german state by land mass), so maybe that's why? Sorry, I just imagine him that way. (´w ` '')
